Tracie spent over 16 years of her career with Weatherford Labs. She joined Diversified Well Logging in October 2020. Kelly spent the next few years with several local mudlogging companies until he got his big break at Nabors as the Rockies Division manager for Epoch managing 50 rigs. International Logging recruited Kelly to become Account Manager for the Rockies Division managing local Oil & Gas accounts.

Chris Matson brings over 12 years of global subsurface expertise and real-time cuttings analysis to Diversified Well Logging. Chris is currently finishing a PhD in Geology under Dr. Steve Sonnenberg at the Colorado School of Mines where he also maintains research and teaching positions.
He received a Master’s in Sedimentology from the University of Calgary and dual Geology and Biology Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Montana. After working in various industry and academic geology roles, Chris joined Weatherford Laboratories as a Geoscience Technical Advisor in 2014 and was a leader in the real-time wellsite cuttings analysis service until moving into other leadership roles.
While at Mines, Chris continued to engage with clients through private consulting, particularly in upstream new ventures and the expanding activity in sediment-hosted critical minerals, geothermal energy, and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS).
Chris’ subsurface expertise in translating technical datasets into actionable deliverables for his clients demonstrates his passion for delivering true value beyond the datasets.
He received a Master’s in Sedimentology from the University of Calgary and dual Geology and Biology Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Montana. After working in various industry and academic geology roles, Chris joined Weatherford Laboratories as a Geoscience Technical Advisor in 2014 and was a leader in the real-time wellsite cuttings analysis service until moving into other leadership roles.
While at Mines, Chris continued to engage with clients through private consulting, particularly in upstream new ventures and the expanding activity in sediment-hosted critical minerals, geothermal energy, and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS).

Chris Matson brings over 12 years of global subsurface expertise and real-time cuttings analysis to Diversified Well Logging. Chris is currently finishing a PhD in Geology under Dr. Steve Sonnenberg at the Colorado School of Mines where he also maintains research and teaching positions.
He received a Master’s in Sedimentology from the University of Calgary and dual Geology and Biology Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Montana.
